Catherine is in charge of communications and human resources at MRC.
She originally worked in the City for an American investment bank before training as a journalist at Haymarket Publishing Ltd.
Subsequently she wrote features as a freelancer for The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, World Architecture and The Times Educational Supplement. Her role at MRC is to ensure that all documents produced by the office are of the highest standard and that the MRC team works harmoniously and communicates well.
As the poet, Catherine Ormell, she has won a number of prizes and been published widely in magazines. Her poem Campaign Desk was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Poem and is in The Forward Book of Poetry 2009, And then you made me feel... is in The Arvon International Poetry Competition 2010 Anthology and Delicacy is in The Best British Poetry 2011 (Salt).
