BA (Hons) Archaeology, APM Practitioner Qualification, (currently taking an MSc, Conservation in the Historic Environment)
Katie’s particular interest is in heritage buildings, rooted in her belief in
the importance of their social history and the need to secure them for
future generations.
She joined MRC four years ago and is a highly valued member of the team. She works with a number of high profile clients, including Westminster Abbey, Exeter College, Oxford and the Olympic Park Legacy Company.
She gained first-hand experience of complex building projects as construction project manager on the National Maritime Museum’s £35m Sammy Ofer Wing project which opened ahead of programme in summer 2011. She also advised the Royal Society of Chemistry on their Chemistry Centre project.
Earlier projects included administering design competitions for the
Wallace Collection, the Glasgow School of Art and the King’s Cross Square
design competition.
