Reg is currently leading our project team on site at the National Maritime Museum for the £35m Sammy Ofer wing redevelopment and subsequent fit-out which is due to complete in 2011.
He joined MRC after nearly twenty years at P&O Estates, bringing his expertise in managing complex multi-use developments in tight city sites.
Highlights of his career at P&O included being project manager on the Chelsea Harbour Development and looking after their interests in relation to the Jubilee Line extension and the interface between Elizabeth House and the Waterloo International Terminal. He was also project director on York Science Park, and project director for Carlton House Terrace, (the refurbishment and extension of the British Council’s old office), as well as, project manager for a number of retail park developments.
He is used to dealing with all the statutory bodies, building control and fire officers and negotiating with national rail authorities, planning departments and stakeholders.
The first twenty-four years of his career he spent practising as a civil/structural engineer with Clarke Nichol Marcel, on major projects with the UK, Middle East and Libya.
