The Olympic Park Legacy Company unveils shortlisted designs for North Park competition

Images of the shortlisted designs for the North Park Visitor Centre and Playground are now available to view online.

Following the design competition launched in the summer, the five shortlisted schemes are now on public view;  online at the dedicated competition microsite and at the Legacy Company’s public exhibitions at Stratford Regional Station(8th to 10th and 15th to 17th November), the Legacy Company’s office (from 18th November) and New London Architecture (from 21st November).

Kathryn Firth, Chief of Design at the Olympic Park Legacy Company, said:

‘These are inspiring designs to match the north park’s stunning river valley and green parkland that the community hub will be set in.

‘Legacy plans for the Park are more advanced than any other previous host Olympic city and this visitor centre and playground will be one of the first attractions added to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.’

The competition jury, chaired by Vicky Richardson, Director of Architecture, Design, Fashion, British Council will review the team submissions and the winners will be announced in December.
